Windows 10: Does "Reset this PC" truly wipe everything?

So the company i work for recently purchased new laptops (Lenovo Thinkpad-p52s) and only one of them is having some sort of code/software compatibility issue with windows 10 and MS Access 2007 (i know its old) which causes forms in access to open and function incorrectly. I tried completely wiping the laptop using "Reset this PC" option hoping to remedy this, but it didn't help.


My hopes were to wipe EVERYTHING; drivers, programs, files etc, and to start from scratch. I'm not sure if resetting the PC in this fashion actually does this and was wondering what the best course of action was if this was not the case.

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

Can you list what tasks/steps you've done thus far in your attempt to resolve it?

Have you logged off your profile (if using Sync) and done a complete wipe of the browser?

How about uninstall and then wipe any remaining data?

Do you have another device you can sort on that it works fine or you could test with?
