  1. domain and email blocked

    Hi guys

I have my company email address which for some reason last week stopped working (can't connect to the server) on this laptop. My computer guy was at at a loss as all the settings were correct as nothing had been changed. He suggested try thunderbird, which also times out. we also tried the webmail, same thing and even the company website is blocked. he tested it from his end and everything is fine (he's remote not a company guy) changed password, nope same thing. turned off firewall, nothing changed. removed malwarebytes etc same.

seems everything that has 'acdirecttenerife.com' on it is blocked.?? how can this be???

on my phone everything works so its a local to this laptop issue

happy to provide further info if required but desperate to get back as quotes are piling up and i don't know what to check.

    Richard

    :)

Block email senders in Windows 10

    Hi Katy,

For better assistance, we'd like to know if you are experiencing the issue in Windows Live Mail or when using Outlook application.

In Outlook app, if Block Sender is not showing after right-clicking on the message, you can still block the sender manually by following the steps below:

    1. Click Home.

    2. In the Delete group, click Junk.

    3. Click on Block Sender.

    4. Select Add.

    5. In the Enter an email address or Internet domain name to be added to the list box, enter the name or address that you want to add. For example, you can add:

    • a specific email address, such as someone@example.com
    • an Internet domain, such as @example.com, or example.com.

    6. Click OK and repeat for each entry that you want to add.

Note: If you are using a Microsoft Exchange account, all of the names and email addresses that are in your organization's address book are automatically considered safe and can’t be added to the blocked list.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

The two-step verification emails show up in my inbox but I added a rule to mark the domain name safe a long time ago (verified that "techpowerup.com" is still in the safe sender list).

Spam in my email... how do I stop it?

Right you are mrsemi....I use hotmail on the forums and only really go to two forums. TPU and AnandTech. I get all the Viagra, Penis Enlargement, Pain Meds, Lasik Eye surgery, even friggin Facebook,(wouldn't go there if they paid me) the list is endless. I keep putting in the domain address to block senders (my blocked domain list is as long as your arm) the spammers just change the address and I keep getting the same crap. *Frown domain and email blocked :(
