Windows 10: downgrade win 10 ver1803 to ver 1709 or 1703

I own a Lenovo y520 laptop which got it's win 10 upgraded to ver1803. Now I am experiencing a faster battery drainage issue and sometimes battery also drops to 0% from 67% suddenly. I am afraid this battery drainage and sudden shutdown of my laptop will harm the hardware in long run. Since I neither asked for any unstable updates from windows nor I can turn off updates in win10 HOME, I request for a way to downgrade ver 1803 to ver 1709 or 1703 where my system was at least stable.


p.s - In Microsoft community all the standard procedure like power troubleshooting, changing power plan and all suggested by the tech support has been performed yet no positive result, all the drivers are up to date. PRETTY ANNOYED BY THESE UNSTABLE WIN10 UPDATES.

Upgrade from Ver 1703 to Ver 1709

Today I got my Computer back from the shop. It is new configuration and I was told to get updates when I get home for my OS, Win home 10 64 bit.

While all other updates downloaded and installed, Ver 1709 has failed 3 times to instal and ugrade.

There is nothing else on this compter installed yet and I am not sure what the problem is but am bit worried.

I have purchased licence for this product OS Win home 10 64 bit Eng Intl package Ver 1703.

 

Creators update: What is the difference between Ver. 1703 and 1709 ?

What is the difference between Ver. 1703 and 1709.

I am asking as I am running Windows 10 64 bit Pro my ver. is 1709 and my wife is running Windows 10 64 bit Home and hers is Ver. 1703.

Windows 10 Fall Creator Update (ver. 1709) breaking games

If you check my "issue description", I have mentioned that all my games used to work on ver. 1703 which are not working on ver. 1709. Both these versions have DirectX 12 and all my old & new games never complained on ver. 1703.

Changing the DirectX version is not required as the games used to work on DirectX 12 on Windows 10 ver. 1703.

I have already tried changing the compatibility version to all the available options (Windows 8.1, 7 and even XP) and it still did not work on ver. 1709.

I have downgraded to ver. 1703 and everything is working fine. I have also made sure that it will not automatically update the ver. 1709, which definitely breaks games. Gamers like me have to choose whether they want Windows Update or Working Games. I choose
the later.

Changing the registry location would do that.
