Windows 10: Downgrading Windows 10 enterprise to pro

is it possible to downgrade Windows 10 enterprise to pro? At the moment i have enterprise but i have the activate windows popup in the bottom left corner of my screen. If i got a windows 10 pro key would i be able to activate windows and get rid of the popup? would doing so erase all of my files?

You cannot downgrade.
You will have to wipe your current system after backing up personal files
Then you will need to either upgrade for free from a legal activated qualifying Operating system or purchase a copy of Windows 10 Pro

Yes, but you can create it on this pc as well. You can wipe this pc as part of the install.

Disconnect the extra hard drive. With only the SSD connected, erase the SSD and do a clean install of Windows 10 Pro. After that is done, reconnect the extra hard drive.

You are asking the wrong question. It is (technically) possible to switch your versions around but it is isn't trivial. If you have to ask about what to do with your games I think you are not even close to being able to do it.

You can convert standard Enterprise to Pro but you can't convert an Enterprise Evaluation to anything as it clearly said when you signed up to the program.

So if you have bought a valid 10 Pro key or your PC came with 10 Pro installed anyway, I'd suggest you clean install 10 Pro. (unplug your other drives first).

Don't try using generic keys or anything. It is against the rules of this forum and will not work in any case.

You need a valid key to activate and assuming you do I suggest you use it.
