Windows 10: Download older windows version?

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10 2004 I get a lot of crashes but I didn't upgrade via the settings so I can't roll back. Unfortunately you can not download older windows version from the official Microsoft site so you have to trust a third party website.

Now I think about using Rufus since it is quite popular (the bootable USB creation tool), and yes it has a function to download old versions of windows but I am not sure if it's save or if the iso got modified or something :/

Swapping to an older version of windows

Is there still an official way to drop back to an older version of windows, I honestly don't mind using a 3rd party way. If possible, can you list step by step instructions or a link to an easy to use website. Thanks.

I suggest you to install the program in Compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.



Compatibility mode runs the program in the current version of Windows using the settings from previous version of Windows.
