Windows 10: download speed

so my pc has a download speed of 60 mbps and upload of 18 and ping of 16 and I am connected to ethernet but when I tried to download a game e.g. fortnite I was getting less than one bps and normally getting and 50 - 900 kbps and it would sometimes go up to 1.25 mbps that is the highest I have seen it go. if anyone can help please do because it is a new pc that I got for my birthday yesterday and it is my first ever pc so if anyone can please help thanks.

Slow Download Speed

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.
  
• You may plug in the Ethernet cable if available and check the speed.

Microsoft store download speeds and windows 10 app load speeds are very slow

Hi Riel,

• The latest update I have showing is "2018-02 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64 based system KB4074588"
• I've tried all the below steps suggested by Eeshwar Kumar in this link: Why is Windows Store's download speed so slow?
