  1. downloading from microsoft store with painfully slow internet speed

    hi.
with that out of the way.

i have incredibly slow internet for the modern age. im talking less then a mb a sec
and i just bought halo wars 2 since it was on sale.
ive been trying to download it for the last 24 hours.
and it seems like the microsoft store invalidates whatever ive got downloaded after i shut my pc off for the night.
am i really going to have to keep my pc on and running for more than a month just to download this game?including it not crashing

if so then this is one more reason why steam is the better store because it allows segmented downloads like this.

    :)

  3. Microsoft Store Slow Download Speed

Why are the download speeds in the Microsoft Store so slow? Whenever I try to download or update an app it takes hours to complete even. Currently I have been waiting for over an hour to download a less than 500 MB app. When I go onto an internet browser
and run speed tests I consistently am receiving 50+ Mb/s. It seems as though the Microsoft Store itself has a download limit or reduces internet speeds. It is pathetic that it takes so long to download a simple app.
