Windows 10: Downloading Minecraft Windows 10 from the Microsoft Store does not work.

Backstory: I turned on the beta in Xbox Insider Hub to test it out, and when I wanted to get out of it, uninstalled my Minecraft first, with a backup of my worlds. Then I tried installing Minecraft and it started, but then I remembered I had to terminate my Xbox Insider Hub membership for Minecraft first, so I went and did that. When I tried and try to download Windows 10 Minecraft on my account, I am met with: "Try again later. Something happened on our end." now.


It has been like this for the past 3-4 hours. I do not want to reset the PC. Interestingly enough, when I tried downloading other things on the account, it worked! All besides Minecraft. If I went on another account and tried downloading the trial edition of Minecraft, it didn't work, but of course other apps did.

• I tried restarting the device, re-logging into the account.
• Ran the Microsoft Store Troubleshooter.

• I tried WSreset.

I'll see if I can provide more info where needed.

Thank you for the information. It seems that the system still detects the beta version you've first downloaded. For us to isolate the issue, we suggest that you uninstall Minecraft: Windows 10 Beta to your computer, and reset the Microsoft Store app by performing
the following steps:

• Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then click the
  Settings icon.
• Select System, and then select Apps & features.
• Find the Store app, and then click on Advanced options.
  
• Click Reset.
• Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Once you're done, kindly sign in your Microsoft account again to the Windows Store app and try to install Minecraft: Windows 10.

Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”

Windows 10 - Minecraft Download Issue

• Do you get any error message?

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

Method 1:

I suggest you to reset Windows Store Cache and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R keys to open run box.

If the issue persists, I would suggest you to disable Antivirus software/ Firewall and check if it helps.
