Windows 10: DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION error from time to time

    DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION error from time to time


    I have an ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop and have been getting a "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION" BSOD error most times while I am playing games. This has happened too many times to count now, and has been happening since a few months ago. There was a 'break' where the BSOD did not happen for a while, but it has come back now. It usually happens unexpectedly after I have had a game running for at least 10 minutes to a few hours. I have also had the error while I was AFK, having only Microsoft Word and Google Chrome open at the time, realising this when I had logged back on and all windows were closed. I have

    BSOD DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION

    According to what I found from your minidump file, ndis.sys is caused this
    DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION BSOD error on your Windows computer.It's a
    NDIS 6.20 Wrapper Driver and installed onto your computer through Windows Update. As far as I know, you have installed new Windows updates lately.

    You can uninstall those updates out of your computer, restart your PC and check again the result. Remember to do these steps in Safe Mode.
