Windows 10: DPC watchdog violation when connecting to wifi after updating driver

So recently I have switched to a new USB wireless adapter, before updating the driver, it was able to connect to the specific internet connection that caused this errorDPC watchdog violation, but I have found it to be quite slow, and decided to update it. However, after updating the driver, I cannot connect to that specific internet connection at all, and just kept getting the same error. DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION.

I am using Windows 10

It was running perfectly but now whenever I turn on wifi and connect, I receive a notification "DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION" and my laptop restarts automatically. So I can't use Internet. However it runs offline perfectly.
