    Driver Power State Failure of ntoskrnl.exe and ntkrnlmp.exe


    I've been experiencing consistently a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE every month or so and cannot seem to find the source of the issue. Also the laptop seems to have problems starting up from full shutdown states and always requires a force restart. It either isn't able to startup to the login screen or when logged on everything is very laggy. However once restarted it almost always boots up to full usability.


    System:


    Dell XPS 15 7590



    Steps taken so far:


    1. Windows Memory Diagnostics: No problems founds

    2. Updated all drivers and bios

    3. Reinstalling nvidia and intel graphics drivers.

    I've tried everything and nothing seems to be able to bring some consistency to the system. Please let me know if there's anything that I'm not seeing!
