Windows 10: Driver Update malfunctions my system

I updated my driver with Nvida GeForce driver 451.67 which is compatible with my PC specialist Windows 10, GTX 860M laptop. Since then I can't access my very important Softwares Design Builder, Revit, AutoCAD Architecture



Prior to this installation , I didn't set a restore point on my computer.


Please how can I restore my computer to an earlier date, so that I can get my system running to how it used to be?? Note that I have tried uninstall in the driver yet the my Softwares keep malfunctioning.

I have tried several youtube videos to solve this but it still persists.

Synaptics driver update Windows 10

I suggest you to go to the manufacturer's website and download the driver. And follow the steps below:

• 
  You may uninstall the driver.
  
• 
  Double click on the set up file without restarting the system
  
• 
  Once the driver installs successfully then restart the system.

Loss of audio device/driver

The red X icon that you can see on the system tray may be caused by a hardware issue and the speakers are not working or in most of the cases there is a software malfunction after an update of the operating system due to the fact that not all the drivers
you had are compatible with the new Windows 10. We suggest that you try to connect another speaker and see if the same issue will occur. If the issue persists, you may run hardware and devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the Search bar and press Enter.
• Click on “View All” in the top left corner.
• This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in in the computer. You can click on Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.

Lastly, you may also go to the device manufacturer's website to update the driver.

Windows update keeps replacing ALPS Touchpad driver with a Synaptics driver.

I suggest you to uninstall and delete the previous drivers and the latest drivers for the touchpad and install the required version of the driver from Device Manager by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager from the list.
• Expand the Touch pad driver.
• Right click on the driver and click on update/install.
• Select the required version from the on-screen prompts.

And for the problem with the installation of printer drivers, I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on “View All” option on top left pane.
• Select “Windows Update” from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.
