    DriverRestore popup and AbeApps folder

Is the DriverRestore popup and AbeApps folder a safe set of software, or should I remove it? The DriverRestore popup window repeatedly appears, recommending me to update drivers, but this is regarded as a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that is produced by a cmopany that also produces other PUPs.

The AbeApps.com website appears to sell a range of apps and software solutions for punters on all platforms, and I may have mistakenly downloaded the Driver Restore application from there recently.

Numerous virus and malware removal programs have only temporarily removed the software. Opening Task Manager has identified the AbeApps DriverRestore program as open. Right clicking and going to its location shows the AbeApps folder with the DriverRestore file, the icon image and several other files. Is it safe to remove this Folder and all its contents?? Also, do you have any further precautionary advice on this software? Very keen to know, thanks.

  2. I am looking for a post by Le Boule explaining how to uninstall DriverRestore using malwaretips.com

    Follow the steps here.

    https://malwaretips.com/blogs/landing-driverrestore-com-virus/

If it is not listed in the Control Panel, or it can't be removed there, move on to step 2. You might be able to skip the step with HitmanPro. (30 day free trial if needed)
