    Hello,
I bought a PC second hand. When I got it, it still had Window 8.1 installed. I used the creation tool to upgrade to Window 10. During the setup of Windows 10, I somehow locked myself out of the account I had setup, so I went through the installation process again. While going through the steps to install Win10 the second time, I was informed that the hard drive did not have enough space to perform the install. Not realizing the consequences of this action, I selected the option to format the hard drive. Win10 successfully installed the second time, but installed generic drivers for the devices on this PC. As such, I am missing several features that should be present on this machine. I.e. it is a tablet PC, but its touch and auto rotate features do not work, the battery doesn't appear the battery still seems to charge properly, and the machine still draws power and runs when powered by the battery only, but the battery tray icon does not appear, I can't even adjust the brightness of the display. When comparing the device manager list on this and a second machine I own of the same manufacturer in a very similar model I believe they're actually the same model, just in different colors, but could be mistaken, several devices appear in the list for that second machine that are not present on the list for this machine. The manufacturer of tis PC does not freely provide the proper drivers for this PC. I did some extensive searching and was able to find a third party who had provided a .zip file of the manufacturer's drivers, so I downloaded that .zip. Now, I cannot find a way to get these drivers to install; when I try to use the device manager to install these drivers, I am returned a message that states the current driver is actually the best one for the PC. I try using a third party driver updater, and even Windows Update, but with no better result. I have researched extensively how to get these drivers to install and am about burnt out from the effort. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
I would love to schedule a time where I could work with a technician while he or she walks me through how to get these or even other drivers which would be better suited for this machine installed, or, perhaps even better, set up a time to allow the technician to remotely access my computer and help me through the process. However, if you can provide a detailed list of instructions I could follow to accomplish these ends, and I am able to get better drivers installed without a technician holding my hand, then I would be beyond ecstatic.
thank you in advance for ANY help you can provide.

    :)
