Windows 10: Drop Down Arrow On Favorites Bar Not Working

I have to restart Microsoft Edge just to get the arrow drop down, at the far right hand side of the favorites bar, to display other favorites. Can anyone Help?

Internet Explorer lets you organize the way you add your list of favorites to the Favorites bar in order to arrange them accordingly. For us to rectify your concern regarding the Favorites bar, follow these steps:

• Launch Internet Explorer.
• Click the star icon located at the upper right hand corner of the browser to view your favorites list.
• Instead of dragging and dropping your favorites, you may right-click the items and select
  Add to Favorites bar.

Right-Click on Edge Favorites only working on the top bar; not drop down list

I have a new laptop running Windows 10 (Anniv. Ed.) and Edge (whatever; can't find the version). I imported Chrome bookmarks and have saved several sites to "Favorites Bar". My issue with Edge is that since the last Windows 10 update I no longer have "right
click" capability to REMOVE favorites from the drop-down list. The right click still (only) works to delete favorites on the actual, visible browser bar but nowhere else. Just another in a long list of Edge frustrations. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.

 

how do i get my favorites to appear in the favorites bar

There are 2 steps...

1) Enable the horizontal favorites bar (which it appear that you have already done)

2) Put some favorites in the folder called "Favorites Bar". So, use the "hub" to expose the favorites pane (that appears as a vertical list on the right hand side), use "drag-and-drop" to move some favorites to the folder called "Favorites Bar"
