  1. DSF files do not display tag info in File Explorer column view

This is how I like to view files within folders in my music library using Windows 10:

DSF files do not display tag info in File Explorer column view [IMG]

Most of my music files are in AIF, AIFF or MP3 format and so the above screenshot is what I see when opening a folder. But with my files in DSF format, the columns are empty when I open the folder:

Can I tweak a setting in my Windows settings so that the ID tags I have entered for my DSF files will be displayed in the File Explorer window?

    :)

  2. I have added the file count column to my folder in File Explorer. However, the actual file count is not displaying.

    Hi Loren,

I appreciate if you could answer a
few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

    • How did you added file count column for folders in File Explorer? What are the steps did you followed?
    • When you say, "actual file count is not displaying" is this issue specific to any folder or happening with all folders?
    • Have you installed any third party anti-virus on your system?
Meanwhile, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps.

    • Open File Explorer.
    • Click on View from navigation pane and choose Detail pane.
Write to us with the above information and status of the issue to assist you further.

File Explorer in list view shows wide columns when using filter "name:"

In File Explorer with a list view and a search filter of name:xxx the columns displayed are like 80 characters wide for files that match "xxx" pattern. This just started after the update in October 2016.

How can I get the file list column width back down to something reasonable?

DSF files do not display tag info in File Explorer column view

Last column of list view in File Explorer issue

When I double click to open a file in the last column to the right side of the list view in File Explorer, and there are long file names among the list so the last column is not completely in the window, instead of opening the file, it advances to the next
column. Then I have to look for the file I want to open again.

I would like to be able to open one of those files with double click even if I just see part of its name.
