    Dual install - WIN10 and WIN7

I did a dual install with win10 and win7 - after installation of win10 went and ran win7 and nearly all my executable icons had a security shield on them. I wanted to keep my win7 install with all my stuff on - just me. *Wink
Why did win10 do this and how do I remove them?
Have googled for 3 or 4 days now and some say this and some say that but nothing that but nothing appears to work - just don' like them.
UAC as been on and off dozens of times - no luck and reboots evermore etc.
They are on separate disks so win10 had no right to touch my win7 of 5yrs old. *Biggrin *Wink *Huh
It seems ok but one never knows I just want rid. *Mad
    All the best

ual boot system upgrade to windows 10

Thanks Jessen for the hint. I was expecting a yes or no answer, since I already have a dual boot system(xp+win7), and if I upgrade win10 from win7 boot, would win7 be replaced by win10 and becomes a (xp+win10) dual boot system?

But it looks more complicated than I thought, should I check current system has xp and win7 are installed in DIFFERENT partitions, otherwise xp would be gone after win7 is upgraded to win10 if xp and win7 are in SAME partition?

  3. How to Dual Boot Windows 10 with Other Versions of Windows, macOS and Linux

Back in the day I updated to Win10 by adding another SSD into my machine and created a dual boot when I "upgraded" from Win7. The other day my Win10 installation when belly up and I had to do a reinstall which has wiped out my dual boot. How do I tell Win10
that my D:\ is my Win7 installation and crate a dual boot?
