    Dual Monitor Issue with Opening files on second screen


    I have hooked up a monitor to my laptop with an HDMI cord, gone to control panel, display, selected extend the display and applied. I can see the windows logo on the monitor and the mouse works on both but I can't drag an open file or document to the second screen.
