Discus and support dual monitor setup on nvidia geforce 730gt? in Windows 10 Graphic Cards to solve the problem; ok, I've got an nvidia geforce 730gt, its got a dvi port(in use with main monitor) and an hdmi port. what I want to know..is can I hook in an hdmi...     ok, I've got an nvidia geforce 730gt, its got a dvi port(in use with main monitor) and an hdmi port.

    what I want to know..is can I hook in an hdmi monitor as a second display device, and do a dual monitor setup?

    Nvidia Dual Monitor and Windows 10

    I use multiple monitors on many windows 10 systems, all with Nvidia drivers. Here is the error I have found, and a quick, but annoying workaround. When the system is powered off and started, or rebooted, on most occasions only the primary monitor is recognized
    at startup. unplugging the video connection (not the power) of the secondary monitor(s) for a few seconds, and plugging them back in seems to recognize the secondary monitor(s) again. reproduced on a desktop with quad monitors on a GeForce GTX 660ti, and with
    dual monitors on a laptop with Geforce GTX 460M (the primary on the laptop being the built in monitor). I have seen this via display port, DVI, and HDMI connections.

    Well, I finally got time to go back and troubleshoot this issue further.

    I confirmed that all Nvidia GeForce drivers pre- 381.65 work fine with Windows 1709 on my particular computer. However, installing any driver 381.65 to the latest 388.71 results in blanking out my monitors.

    It's not a dual monitor issue, as it happens on one monitor as well. I've played with disabling V-Sync. Ensuring Color Depth is 8... making sure monitor drivers are both current.

    I checked the release notes on NVidia GeForce 381.65 and it says this is the first driver to add "Windows Creators editions support", and it is in that statement that I believe the issue lies.

    So right now I am running just fine on NVidia 378.92 which is the newest driver that does NOT include Windows Creator edition support. Set my Windows at metered connection to stop it installing a newer NVidia driver, but I am on Windows 1709.

    Anyone happen to hear more about possible fixes? I've tried all the suggestions I can find on the web... just not sure what it is in the newer NVidia drivers that need to be turned off/setting changed, etc that don't like my GeForce 690 GTX video card.

    Hate to have to replace the whole system over this... still runs quite well.

    Hi there.

    I run two monitors from one graphics card. One is connected to the DisplayPort and the other is connect to DVI. So you can mix the connection types.
