Windows 10: Dual monitors on Windows 10

Discus and support Dual monitors on Windows 10 in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; That's great news! So can we assume you downloaded a new DisplayLink driver?     Dual monitors on Windows 10


    No, sorry if I confused things. Read my previous post, I went back to Windows 8.1 on my laptop and it worked as advertised. In Windows 8.1 I didn't have to install anything manually. I just plugged it in and waited as the software was downloaded and installed. The only glitch was the screen was blank until I went in and set the correct resolution. My mouse cursor went on to that screen but nothing was being displayed. In Windows 10 the second screen didn't show up at all and I couldn't even extend my desktop to it. I could have messed with it and maybe got it working but just wasn't in the mood for that. It took me maybe 40 minutes to install 8.1 and move on.
