Discus and support Duck Duck Go Default Search in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; How can I make Duck Duck Go the default search engine in the Cortana search bar?     How can I make Duck Duck Go the default search engine in the Cortana search bar? Also, how can I make Chrome the default browser Cortana opens?

    That's what I see when opening a new tab with DDGo as default.


    If you want a separate search box with the ability to select search engines, try
    Gain Access to a Search Box in Google Chrome

    (Found by.. yes.. searching for
    enable search box in chrome
    )

    Note: I'm a novice Chrome user.

    Hi, the link I posted from Howtogeek seems old- I can't find that extension.

    However, Searchbar offers this:

    - click the button on right to launch the bar: note I've added Duckduckgo to the extension (by opening its page and rt clicking in the search field).
