Windows 10: Duel Monitor issue

[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]Windows 10 64bit about a week ago crashed to the extentthat I had to re-install. [/COLOR]

[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]It is on its own SSD with only those programmes thatare required for the computer to function i.e., monitor – security.[/COLOR]


[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]All other programmes are downloaded and installed on entirelydifferent HD’s.[/COLOR]


[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]I have a two-monitor setup.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]I am having an issue with drop down boxes that are on theedge of the monitor right hand side. Prior to the reinstall any flyoutassociated with the drop-down box showed up on its left-hand side, now unless Imake the drop-down box large the list is shown on the second monitor.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]Disconnecting the second monitor and the drop-down menu isshown on the left as expected.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1] [/COLOR]

[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]I have tried to rectify by altering the settings withinMonitor – display, Personalisation and NVIDA control Panel. Whilst the monitor/ display altered as per the changes but made no difference to how thedrop-down box was displayed. I have now reset to the settings back.[/COLOR]


[COLOR=rgba0, 0, 0, 1]Other than reinstalling the OS I havenot consciously changed anything else – obviously, I have and as is often thecase you cannot see what is staring you in the face and it takes someone elseto point it out.[/COLOR]

Duel Monitor start up issues

I have tried it , again the monitor works fine when plugged in by it self. or to a different pc. It is not a issue with the monitor or cables. I have been running duel monitors for 10 years never had this problem before, I posted here trying to find someone
that fixed the issue.

I upgraded to windows 10 and not my duel monitors do not work? do I have to reinstall a driver?

I have my pc with one monitor and I have a 50" tv hooked up to it also so I can watch movies. I have it set up as duel monitors but when I turn off the tv my monitor goes to just a screen saver and nothing else. I can't see my apps or my mouse just a screen
saver. I don't know how to fix this and please don't send me how to set up duel monitors becuase i have read them all and nothing works. I do have a gtx 970 so I do have nvidea control panel but i still can't get it to work with that either
