Windows 10: Duplicate Display Via HDMI Not Working Windows 11

Recently, this issue has popped up, where I cannot duplicate my display to a connected monitor. All my drivers are up to date. The latest even the optional updates are installed and still this is an issue. In the display settings, it only shows these options:Extend these displaysShow only on 1Show only on 2Here's a screenshot:I've tried changing settings, but no luck. Is this a bug? Kindly fix it as soon as possible as it's creating a big hindrance in my daily workflow.

Hdmi sound not working

One possible reason why the HDMI sound does not work is due to the conflicts with the playback settings. For us to help you make the HDMI sound to work, we suggest that you answer the following questions for further research:

• Have you made any recent changes to your computer?
• What is the current build and version of your Windows 10?
• Have you tried to download and install the most updated sound and display driver of your computer?

Windows 11 does not work with Monitor in Display Port, but HDMI ¿?

Thanks, but I've already followed that (obvious) steps...

It's curious:

- If I start the computer with 1 monitor using Hdmi cable, it works (shown windows 11 fine)

- If I start the computer with 2 monitors (1 using hdmi cable, 1 using display port cable), it works (shown windows 11 fine in dual screen)

- If I start the computer with 1 monitor using Display Port cable, it works until windows 11 loads... shown Bios/Post boot... but then black screen not showing windows 11. It's a Microsoft Windows matter. I do press Shift + Start + Ctrl + B (to reset 'graphics') the monitor does a 'flick' but continue without showing windows 11.

 

Not being able to extend displays only duplicate displays via HDMI

Hello

I'll make this short and sweet, I just can't seem to find a solution to this and it's happening to more users in the office.

Out of the blue the HDMI to the LG TV's arent working from Dell 7480,7400 laptops, running windows 10

When plugging in the HDMI cable the laptop screen goes blank and the TV doesnt pick it up.
fn+f8 and select duplicate (while screen is black) brings up the laptop and duplicates to the TV.

Selecting Extend turns the TV back to the screensaver and nothing changes on the laptop.

Troubleshooting:
All cables have been checked but it happens in multiple meeting rooms, equipment is in perfect working order, HDMI's, TV's etc.
I have done all updates on affected devices.
Uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers related to the graphics card.
Configured all correct resolutions in both display settings as well as the Intel Graphics panel.

I can arrange the screens in both the settings tabs but when I 'apply', it goes blank and only works in Duplicate.

This has happened with multiple devices now, I have done some reading and read something about a poossible bug at the moment? I can't crack this.

The issue seems to be coming from the HDMI port as if I plug the laptop into a docking station I can extend to the monitors just fine, but cant extend from HDMI pot.

Any other suggestions?
