Windows 10: Duplicate libraries-library folders

I did something in Windows 10 v1909 that duplicated several library folders and their contents see below picture. I don't have duplicate folders under "Quick Access". How do I correct? Disregard the THIRD Documents folder. The only correction I could find is here and it didn't work: https://www.windowsphoneinfo.com/threads/restore-default-location-of-personal-folders-in-windows-10.7049/ . I tried BOTH options to correct the problem without success. Thank you for your assistance in this annoying matter.

Map a network drive folder to my video library

To Include folders using Manage Library Tools, we suggest that you perform the steps below:

• In File Explorer, select or open a library (ex: Videos) you want to include a folder or drive to.
• Click on the Library Tools Manage tab, and click on the Manage library button in the ribbon.
• Click on the Add button
• Browse to and select a folder or drive that you want to include in this library, and click on the Include folder button.
• When finished, click/tap on OK.

Method: Restore default Libraries

I would suggest you try the restore library option and check if it helps. Please back up all the files in the library before trying this, just to make sure you don’t lose any files. Refer these steps:

• Open Windows explorer
• In the left panel, locate Library and right click on it
• Click “restore default libraries” option
• Check if the issue persists.

In Windows Explorer, Libraries folder is duplicated under Desktop





I accidentally enabled HomeGroup, which messed up my folder permissions, resulting in padlock icons under Libraries sub-folders.

I immediately disabled HomeGroup, invoked "Restore default libraries", and reapplied inherited folder permissions.

After this, whenever I click on a Libraries sub-folder, it opens up a new Window Explorer, and spawns a second Libraries folder Under Desktop.

I have tried every suggestion related to repairing Libraries, such as:

· "Tools\Folder options\" and toggle "Browse folders"

· Import clean/default Libraries registry

· System Restore

· Re-register "actxprxy.dll" and "ieproxy.dll"

Nothing seems to fix it.

This strange behavior happens only on this user account; Libraries on a different user account is normal.
