Windows 10: Duplicate to extend multiple display control.

When I switch from duplicate to extend with multiple displays, how can I control which screen automatically shows what was previously on the duplicated screen?

No duplicate option for multiple displays.

I do not have the option of duplicating a display for multiple displays. I can extend and designate my desktop to either display but not both at the same time. Why is this and how can I duplicate?

Multiple Displays | "Extend these displays" option not showing

Hi all,

I have a Windows 7 laptop.

I connected it to an external monitor/screen using VGA.

However, when I go to Control Panel, I do not see the "Extend these display" option in the drop-down menu under "multiple displays".

The only options are: Duplicate displays, show desktop only on 1 and show desktop only on 2.

Is there a way to access the extend these displays option either on the drop-down menu or some other way (hopefully not very technical)?
