Windows 10: DVD Player will not install

Microsoft store sees my PC as a device but when I try to install DVD player that I paid $14.99 for it tells me there is no device to install it on? My DVD player worked just fine with Windows media player with Windows 7 but now with Windows 10 I have to buy DVD player and it then won't install....I want my money back!!!! Or some one tell me how I get this installed??

Burned DVD's Work in SOME players

In that case, it is possible the problem is with the blu ray player not supporting DVD+R disks.

Suggest you check to make sure: it's possible you can overcome this problem by simply burning DVD-R instead of DVD+R. Check your blu ray compatibility list first.

DVD player purchased but will not download and install

Just hung up the phone with Microsoft support. They were able to fix the issue, now I have Windows DVD player installed and can play DVDs successfully.

To resolve the issue follow these steps:

1. Go to Store app in Win 10. You can search for Store in Cortona as well.

2. Go to "my library" in the Store app.

3. Click on your profile picture on top right to find "my library".

4. Find Windows DVD Player in the list of apps in "my library".

5. Try to install Windows DVD Player from "my library".
