    I use the Dvorak keyboard exclusively. When I boot the machine and go into my profile, everything works as expected - both my password and any other typing require Dvorak. However, when another member of the family boots the machine and goes into their profile, then they log out and I subsequently log in, Dvorak is off, and the icon in the Start bar is not there. When I go back into languages to turn it on, it will not come on. I must completely reboot the machine, i.e, turn it off and on again a simple restart does not solve it to get Dvorak back on in my profile.

    Hi Franz,

    Please perform the following steps to add the DVORAK keyboard layout:

    Click the Windows button + I. You’ll open Windows Settings

    Then press Time & Language

    Click on Region & Language on the left pane

    On the right pane, find the section Preferred languages, press the language you want to add the keyboard layout, then hit Options

    When you are in the Keyboards section, check if the DVORAK layout is there; if not, press Add a keyboard

    Find the DVORAK keyboard layout and click it

    Then close the window

    Check if the keyboard layout is now added

    Write me back if it works or not.

    How do I get rid of the Dvorak keyboard? Don't have one, don't need the Windows 10 Pro to switch to Dvorak. I'm using an engllsh (US) keyboard.
