  1. Easeus Todo Backup differential/incremental questions

Hello everyone. I've been having some issues with setting up my backup scheme and I can't for the life of me figure this one out. So, been using the software on the title for a while. One of my file backups is about 2.5TB. Now, older versions of the software (namely 9.x) used to compress that down to 1.6TB even with "normal" compression setting. Newest version (15.x) just doesn't seem to be able to achieve any compression at all regardless the setting. But I digress, that's not my issue. I am trying to keep that data backed up on a 3TB drive. First full backup works fine. My plan is then to just add one differential image daily, and when it gets too big to fit the drive I would re-do the full backup. For whatever reason, trying both differential and incremental backups just won't work, the software tells me there is insufficient space on the drive. How can that be? What is the exact process that goes on when a task is run? I am assuming it looking for enough space to fit the full backup in, even when just trying to do a differential minutes after the full backup was created with no change in the files. Is this proper behavior? Or is it a bug? What else could I do to keep an automated backup of 2.5TB on a 3TB drive without having to manually delete the older one and running a full one again?

    :)

Edit Backup Plan for EaseUS Todo Backup Free

Whilst Easeus Todo is ok, it is slow.

Macrium Reflect Free is far superior and much faster and more flexible and easy to set up schedules.

Edit Backup Plan for EaseUS Todo Backup Free

My OS is Windows 10, 64-bit.

I have created a backup plan using EaseUS Todo Backup Free v. 12.5.0.0. I don't remember if the backup type that I chose was Full, Differential, or Incremental...

I have not been able to find a way to check the backup plan for that information. Selecting the backup plan -> Advanced -> Edit Plan does not show anywhere if the backup plan is set for Full, Differential, or Incremental.

    How do I check that?

Please note that I am using EaseUS Todo Backup Free.

Edit Backup Plan for EaseUS Todo Backup Free

Hi. It looks like I might be misunderstanding how EaseUS Todo Backup Free works...
The attached screen capture shows what I see once EaseUS is launched. "File Backup" is the name of the backup plan that I have created. I am basically backing up files from my PC.

Questions about setting up EASEUS Todo Backup: I've been using the free Macrium Reflect for a little while, and as near as I can tell, it works.
