Had difficulties to find a descriptive title for this.

    A screenshot:

Screenshot above shows approximately this area of my displays #1 & #3:

Edge is full screen. Any content that other browsers would show in status bar which Edge doesn't have, like URL when I mouse over a link, is shown on display #3 when Edge is full screen on display #1. It is very disturbing.

Happens on both build 15002 and 15007.

Any ideas, how do I stop this?

    :)

  2. Disable url pop-up when hovering over a link

Hi Rebecca. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

This is an issue that annoys many people. If you'd also like to express your opinion about this to Microsoft use the Feedback Hub app in Start Menu where developers are tasked to process consumer feedback. You can even click the Share button there to generate
a link to your Feedback to post back here for others to vote up or add to it. But Microsoft will not see it here as this is a mostly volunteer-staffed forums where we try to solve your problems.

There are a few things to try that seem to relieve the problem, mainly here:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

  3. Disable url pop-up when hovering over a link

I get super annoyed in the e-mail program when the full url pops up when I over over a picture, for instance in Pinterest. It is distracting and completely unnecessary. How do I get that to stop? Windows 10.

The screens are overlapping? Those screen numbers on the display settings are draggable. Drag the screens so that they don't overlap.

    Try clearing the edge cache

A good idea, thanks, but displays are not overlapping. That has been tested and eliminated as a cause.

Again a good idea. Didn't help.

Still no idea what this was but it seems to have been display driver related. Booted to Safe Mode, uninstalled both on-board Intel and Nvidia GPU drivers, restarted normally letting Windows find and reinstall them, problem resolved.

I should have thought of that before posting.
