    win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

    today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

    Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
    System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the Start button, click on
      Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
      Enter.
    • After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
    Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

    Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

    • Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on
      Update driver software
    BUT i still have the line on screen.

    From your description, it is leaning towards a Graphics card or an LCD issue.

    If you have the latest graphic driver, the next step to do is test the LCD in the System Setup (BIOS). It is best to visit your device manufacturer's website for more information on how to do this.

    After testing the LCD in the System Setup (BIOS), we strongly recommend to run the laptop LCD Built-In Self Test (LCD BIST). Follow the steps below on how to run the LCD BIST:

    • Turn the laptop off.
    • To start the Laptop LCD BIST. Press and hold the "D" key while pressing the power button.
    • The screen will display multiple flashing colors. Look for lines, distortion, or any other video issues you have observed.
    • The laptop will restart when the test is finished.

    Update us with the outcome so we can provide further assistance.

    hy i have a problem with my laptop (dell e6510) .

    I get white vertical lines on my display , so far i tried changing the display cable, updating graphics driver with latest from manufacturer .
