  1. Email Links on the web (in Chrome) will not open emails in Outlook.

First - I am a very NON-TECHNICAL user. But I have been frustrated because when I am on a website and it gives me an option to CLICK HERE to email someone, the link won't open my Outlook email (or any email). I gave checked my WIndows Settings Defaulkt Apps and it shows Google Chrome for Email and Web Browser. I do not want to switch browsers but I want it to OPEN MY OUTLOOK SO I CAN USE THE EMAIL LINKS. I am using WIndows 10 Home. Help

    :)

Outlook 2010 Keeps Asking How to Open Email Web Links

After the upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Outlook 2010 keeps asking how to open web links embedded in email messages. I select Internet Explore (not Microsoft Edge) and check "Always Use this App" but each time I get the prompt. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Outlook Web Access

I was sent an email with a link to my companys email system. Clicking on the link worked fine. It opened up a window, asked for my pw, then a 'Outlook Web Access' window poped up with my new company email account. Fine.

Now... When I restarted my system, the pw window pops , then the 'Web Access' window opens (with my desktop icon's over laying it) and I can't close it.

How do I get shut this auto startup off?

    Email links on Web pages

I should have been more clear. I use windows 10, but I run windows 7 in a Virtual machine.
I was able to go into control panel and set an association between Chrome and Outlook. Now what happens is that clicking on an email link on a web page opens a new tab with with the "mail to" info in the address bar of the new tab, not in an email program. I have a laptop on which this process works as it should: the first time I click on an email link, asks me which program on my system I would like to use, and then works as it should.
