Email permanently linked to local account after update

I use an offline account for myself & set up my children's PCs as offline accounts as well. But after the last update, I started being asked for my email password. Now, I had put outlook email accounts for my kids & my own emails I use for different things. And it seems that Microsoft just picked any random email I have put into my outlook & permanently linked it to my offline account. I have no option to remove or stop being asked for passwords or anything. I'm referring to the Your Info page. When I click on email & accounts. The email pops up & I have no way of removing it, as it just has manage, which directs me online. I have been forced to reset my windows & keep my files to fix this. But one thing I did notice, I had to activate my windows again, so I used my email/password but it couldn't find it. So I used my original windows 7 key & it activated. But, when I go back to the email & accounts. The very same email is listed & I am unable to remove it.

Why has Microsoft done this & linked my windows license to an email account at random without my permission? I can't stress how fecked off I am!

    :)

  2. Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are
    • Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
    • No Internet connection during the install
    • static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

  3. Windows 10 - Wrong Microsoft Account linked to local admin account - no Sign in with local account instead link available

Thanks for the response. What I suggest you do is to switch to a local account and then switch back to your Microsoft account.

    Here's how:

    • Sign in using the Microsoft account.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Click Accounts.
    • Under Your email and accounts, click Sign in with a local account instead.
    • Type the password of the Microsoft account and click Next.
    • Under Switch to a local account, click Next.
    • Click Sign out and finish.

Once you're done switching to a local account, you can now set your new Microsoft account to associate on your Windows 10 computer. Make sure to type in the correct email address you want to associate to your PC. Follow the steps provided above and click
Sign in with a Microsoft account instead to set up your new account.

Should you have further questions, let me know.

    Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
