Windows 10: Emails received from BT internet suddenly now disappear.

I had never this issue before until now.
All emails coming from Btinternet have disappear in my inbox.

please help!!

For us to be able to isolate why the BT mail contacts disappear from your phone, kindly answer these questions:

• Which Windows version is currently running on your phone?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.

 

EMAIL DISAPPEARING with windows 10

Thank you Kiran Kishore for your quick reply. I have a POP3 account. I have tried your suggestions and now emails arrive in the inbox. Does this mean I cannot put anything in the blocked senders list in the future, and continue with no automatic filtering?

With regards to the new Mail app of Windows 10. I have added the account again yesterday and today after doing sync there is no presence of any email received today, not even the one sent from Microsoft Community. And I still have not understood why emails
that were in the inbox yesterday before i have cancelled the account, disappeared suddenly after some minutes. I have checked outlook.com rules and security etc. etc.there are no rules and security is standard. Safety ptions of WLM should not affect the Mail
app. But this does not explain anyway why there are no emails RIGHT NOW.

I will still continue with WLM, which I prefer, and will not use the new Mail app, I am afraid.
