Windows 10: Emergency help - CANT ACTIVATE WINDOWS

So just about a day ago, i got my new Acer computer and went to step up the computer.

At first it was fine, it said to activate windows and i could so i started to install chrome and change some settings of the computer but after a few hours around there, it suddenly said i couldn't change anything if i didn'tactivate windows.

So i tried to troubleshoot and do everything i could think of, reset,restart,etc. After that i decided to call for help, told him the issue and he gave me some instructions and got a product key, well i thought i was fine and done with the problem but it only continued on, unfortunately the product key cannot be used to change saying it was for the software before it was update.

He told me that i needed to downgrade or change windows 10 education to windows 10 home.I went on to search how to do so but only made me more confused and frustrated as there were many versions and required to do many steps that i don't understand which i spent hours doing so, i even went to ask help from the virtual agent but still have no progress. I have even tried to use my product ID but to avail. So please today i can here with my broken english asking for help that are simple and easy to understand

Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

• Open Settings.
• Tap on System.
• Tap on Messaging.
• Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
• Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
2. Select or click Ease of Access.
3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
5. Check if issue is resolved.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
