  1. Enable Administrator

I just built a PC and Installed a new copy of Windows10 pro. I want to have full access to everything using the Administrator account. Every attempt I have tried has not born fruit. I have tried the command line "net user" the "lusrmgr.msc" console and the secpol.msc console. it gives me "the password does not meet the password policy requirements" message. Nowhere did it even ask for a password.

I will answer the question you seem to ask a lot. I want full control of MY computer. I own it, I built it, Is is mine!

    So please someone help me.

    :)

  2. Enable Default Administrator on Windows

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you want to enable settings to gain full access of the PC.

You can achieve this by enabling the default administrator on your PC. However, we cannot link it with another user account. Default administrator has permissions to access all the settings and features without any UAC prompts.
Please follow the steps to enable the default administrator on the PC.

    1. Open Start Menu and type
      CMD.
    2. Now right click on it and click on
      Run as administrator.
    3. Type the following command to enable hidden administrator:
      net user administrator /active:yes
    4. Restart the PC and then try logging in to the
      Administrator account.

Note: The default administrator account is usually used to troubleshoot issues, it is recommended to create an administrator account instead of using the default administrator
    account.

    Enable Administrator

Enabling hidden elevated administrator account fails

    Hi Rob,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community. I understand that you have an issue with enabling hidden elevated administrator account.
I will surely help you to fix this issue.

To understand the issue better, let me know if you have any other administrator User Account?

If you have other administrator user account, you may login to that user account and try to
enable built-in administrator account. If there are no other administrator user accounts, you may enable built-in administrator account from WinRE and check if it helps. To enable built-in
    administrator account follow these steps:

    • Insert the Windows 10 Installation Disc.

    • Click on Repair your System.

    • Click on Advanced Startup Options.

    • Click on Command Prompt.

    • Type: net user administrator /active: yes
Note: Please follow the same steps and type
net user administrator /active: no to disable admin account after the troubleshooting is done.

Hope this information helps. Reply to the post with an updated status of the issue so that we can assist you further.
