    Enabling Auto Play in WIN10

My CD/DVD on my new ACER laptop with WIN10 will not auto play. I've turned on auto play in both Divice and Control Panel without result. Essential, because I paid $300 for a Rosetta Stone language course, and now can't use it. I'm 79 and prize my time because every passing day, there's less of it. It's been three months now I've been looking for a solution.
After research, I came across a HowToGeek article saying auto play may be disabled in gpedit.mcv. How to Enable, Disable, and Customize AutoPlay in Windows 10
I thought if that were the case, I could re-enable it.
But, Win10 said gpedit.mcv is not available. More searching and I found a way to add gpedit.mcv, except the command prompt says I need an advanced command prompt.
The author of adding the gpedit.mcv said davehc had found the way to add it, had written the code, and the user could have it by clicking on "download here" but I couldn't locate the link. Add GPEDIT.msc by Drudger on DeviantArt
    I'm not computer savvy.
So, I'm turning to you. Can you help?

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
