Windows 10: end of life update windows 10

I recently updated after receiving an end of life cycle for windows 10 message. Once the update completed and the computer was restarted all of my data files were gone and a new cleared blank desktop set. It looks like my data is somewhere on the computer as the amount of available space seems the same. It sort of appears that the update laid a new desktop on top of the old stuff. All programs remain. No files in documents, downloads, music, pictures, and the windows email app does not work. This erasure has happens twice in the last few days and seems to occurs when 'restart' is hit.

How do I clear this out and recover my data?

Windows 10 End of Life

Hi,

Can someone tell me if the following versions of 10 are End of Life and are no longer receiving Security or Critical updates please?

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.16299

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.14393

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.15063

Windows 10 Pro - 10.0.16299

Windows 10 Enterprise - 10.0.17134

I have seen a lot of articles suggesting that the top 4 are. I just want some re-assurance.

Windows 10 will reach end of life on 14 October 2025 only for Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2015 LTSB. As you can see here:

Windows 10 won't reach end of life, but each Windows 10 version has an end of life. You only have to keep Windows 10 updated and it won't reach end of life, as Windows 10 is the last Operating System released by Microsoft as for now.
