    Hello, I have an enormous problem with my whole windows!

    I can't disable Real time protection even not temporarily! when I press it it just bounces back again. I found an article in microsoft community

    Windows Defender "Real Time Protection" will not disable - Microsoft Community

    I did as saidI actually still haven't installed 3rd party antivirus I went in gpedit.msc and enabled both "Turn off windows defender antivirus" and "Turn off real time protection" in Real time protection folder in that ,but didn't have any effect!

    I wondered if the problem is with the apps I've just installed so did a restore to 4 months ago using restore points ,but also that didn't have any effect. so I did anything that may relate to that

    I tried to turn off firewall... that didn't work ,too

    I tried to turn off relating services I saw windows defender antivirus service but all options grayed out....

    I tried PowerShell Set-MpPreference -DisableRealtimeMonitoring $true

    but it also didn't have any effect.

    I also did have some problems with my users, changed their names and password and disable passwords coming up on boot in netplwiz and had two users with the same name on logon and their story, I don't know if that may relate or not!
    The only thing I think of is that maybe my laptop has gotten Covid-19!!!':
    please help! it's droven me absolutely crazy!!

    Windows Defender Real Time Protection

    I did all the step and delete the MsMpEng.exe but still it doesn't turn on Real Time Protection any suggestion please??
