We know our Insiders give back in a million different ways, using the power of technology. Share your story through a short video for a chance to win your choice of Microsoft products, valued at up to US $500. We’ll also profile your story on our homepage!

Criteria

Submit a short video and brief written statement telling us how you use technology to give back to your community and your vision for how tech can help create a better world.

Your application will be judged on:

Fit to Contest Theme: We’re looking for compelling stories from highly motivated fans who are passionate about making a positive impact through the power of technology.

Quality of Submission: We’ll be considering your ability to communicate effectively and your ability to clearly articulate your passion and what you do to make a difference in your community.

Spark: We’re looking for original stories that wow us and have the potential to inspire. The best entries will paint a vivid picture about the cause that you are devoted to and the impact you’ve made. Entries will be judged based on their content (not on how snazzy the video submission is).

Announcing Windows 10 (Redstone 5) Bug Bash Insiders2Campus Contest

To qualify for the contest, participate in a Windows 10 (Redstone 5) Bug Bash

Windows 10 bug bashes are a chance to provide feedback on specific Windows Insider Preview features and functions — by participating in 'Quests' in the Feedback Hub designed by our Windows engineers.

Become a Windows Insider.

Download the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview or Windows Server Insider Preview build at the time of one of the bug bashes listed below.

Bug Bash #1, June 22 – July 1, 2018

Bug Bash #2, July 27 – August 5, 2018

Go to the Feedback Hub. Click on the Quests section and complete at least one quest.

Go to the Feedback section of the Feedback Hub and log at least one piece of feedback relating to the Insider Preview build that you downloaded during the Bug Bash dates.

Enter the contest by August 15, 2018.

Windows Insiders – Enter to win a trip to Redmond

Just a reminder that there’s still time to enter our Windows Insider contest for a chance to win a trip to the Microsoft World Headquarters here in Redmond. We are inviting 10 Windows Insiders for a two-day event to have a unique opportunity to experience first-hand how we’re co-developing Windows with Insiders like you. Insiders selected for the trip will:

Meet with me and other senior Windows leaders

Get an up-close look at the Windows design process

Tour our hardware design labs

Hear about the evolution of Windows from Microsoft veterans

Check out prototypes not yet seen by the public

And more!

And, of course, we’ll be covering Insiders’ travel expenses, including flights, meals, accommodations and other planned activities.*

So here’s how to enter to win a spot on our invitation list: Go to the Insider Hub on your Windows 10 Start menu and submit a short video of yourself telling us what you like most about Windows 10 Technical Preview and the Windows Insider Program. We’ll then draw 500 finalists – and our judging team will choose 10 winners based on your responses.

The deadline to register is March 24, 2015 and winners will be announced on or about March 30, 2015. The event is scheduled for April 23-24, 2015.
