    Epson Stylus Photo R300 CD Print Not Working


    Am running Windows 10. Sometime in the past year the option to print on a CD or DVD has stopped working on my Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer. When CD printing is attempted, the error message 'Install CD print driver' appears. The printer works fine when printing on paper. Have updated the drivers from within Windows and have removed the printer and re-installed it to no effect. Have also tried several other tricks, which just caused a great deal of wasted time, with no benefit. Am running Epson Print CD version 2.44 00E. Any advice appreciated.

    Windows 10 & Epson Stylus Photo R300

    I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from 7.

    Epson Printer, connected via USB to LPT1, used to work fine but now refuses to print.

    I have downloaded and installed the latest driver from the Epson Website without success.

    Subsequently have run Windows Troubleshooter through Control Panel as an Administrator and everything checks out.

    I've also run the Printer Troubleshooter as supplied in several community posts but this again says everything is fine.

    When trying to print, I just get an error "Epson Stylus R300 unable to print <doc name>".

    I now don't know what to try next - any suggestions welcome.

    Struggling to print CD/DVD


    I like my Epson Stylus photo R300, has always done a good job of printing my CD/DVDs, but alas since upgrading to Win10 64 bit, (Win 10 works automatically for standard printing) but not for printing CD/DVD it gives me the nag that the driver dealing with CD printing is not installed. Any ideas, your thoughts as always most appreciated. I have installed the latest Print CD software.

    Epson Stylus Photo R300 CD Print Not Working

    Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer

    Windows 10 installed to a Windows 7 desktop and 2 weeks later to a Tablet 8.1. In each case the download and install were completed but neither recognised my Epson Stylus Photo R300 Printer, although other printers seemed to be installed. Epson advise
    that windows 10 will have the new drivers required and there is no appropriate driver available.

    The original set up disc has been lost and the copy I made seems to be corrupt. Help or do I need to replace a good printer with a more up to date version?
