    Erasing Windows and starting over


    In the past weeks, the performance of my PC has seriously declined and I don´t know why. I haven't installed anything that would affected my PC or messed up with the hardware itself. So I decided to erase all my files and Windows but I don't know what to do after that. How do I reinstall Windows again?


    P.S.: I don´t know my Windows activation key but it says that the key is linked to the microsoft account.

    Finally! An alternative to eraser...

    it looks much cleaner then the eraser so that is a big step up.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Windows program to secure erase files only

    I tried doing a search and only found optimal ways to fully erase a disc. Since there are a ton of programs I thought it best to just ask for a current recommendation. I would like to erase a few folders only on a W7 machine and do not need a full time paid program.

    Thank you for any suggestions.
