Windows 10: Error 0x000007d1 Specified driver Invalid Printer Issue

Hi,

A win10 reset recovery brought the machine up to OS 1909 build. I cannot now print documents. I have tried running the troubleshooter but it does not find any issues. However if I launch Edge browser and print a web page the printer works OK. I am then able to print from other apps, word etc. When I then do a full system shutdown restart the problem re-occurs. A soft shut down fast startup enabled retains the settings and the printer works OK without needing to start Edge. Attempting a test print from the printer app throws up an error message, all other print requests fail until Edge is again opened.

It has got me totally baffled, has anyone got any ideas please.

Error 0x000007d1

I've reinstalled the printer, using the steps above. I still get the same error:

Operation could not be completed (error 0x000007d1).

The specified driver is invalid.

Thanks for your help. What should I try next?

Hi, I have upgraded to Windows 10 pro 1909 my printer has stopped working. I keep getting error

1) I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the printer to no avail.

2) Tried to edit register and look for the below which I could not find
