Windows 10: Error 0x80070005 when changing default save destinations

I recently upgraded from windows 10 home to windows 10 pro after doing a clean insall of windows 10 home. It just gives me this error code and says to try again later. I am trying to swich my download for my apps to my hard drive from my ssd drive. Can anyone help?

I am trying to change the settings for saving documents.

I am in "Settings/System/Storage/Change where new content is saved".

Currently Documents are set to "This PC (C". Using the drop down menu, I change the entry to "Data (F)" which is the drive where my Documents folder resides. I then click Apply and get a message saying "We couldn't set your default location. The operation
did not complete successfully. Try again in a bit. The error code is 0x80070005, in case you need it."

Trying later makes no difference and the only references I can find to that error number refer to Windows Update and the Windows Store.

Error 0x80070005 occurs when you lack file or registry permission to move or modify a file or folder. That being said, can you tell us the exact steps you did to transfer the
Documents folder to Local Disk (F? Also, are you signed in as the administrator when you tried to transfer the folder?

Can't change default storage location / error Error 0x80070005

Hi I've bought flight simulator 2020 and I'm trying to download it however it tells me I can't download it because '' this location is not setup for installing games ''.

When i try to change it from my ssd to hdd it gives me an error code = Error 0x80070005






I found quite a lot of same posts on the internet about it. They you to give your self full permission in the packages folder. I already have that however. The help ends here from the internet and I don't know what to do now.
