Windows 10: Error 0x80070005

I have been trying to pre-install Microsoft Flight Simulator and I would like to install it onto my D drive because my C Drive is to small the are both SSD's whenever I try to it says that my D drive is not set up to install games on. I press the 'Set it as your location for where new apps are saved' button and it takes me into settings the I try and make it be set to my D drive but it says 'We couldn't set your default save location' with the error code 0x80070005. I have looked on the community support page for past problems and have tried the solutions and nothing has worked. Please help.
