    I accidently downloaded and tried to install the 32 bit version. My system is 64 bit.

    The download/install goes through the steps until it gets to 27%. I've tried three times

    It stops the install and resets the system back to win7.


    The error code is "0x8007005-0x2000A Failed in the SAFE_OS phase with error During

    PREPARE_FIRST_BOOT operation.


    I have been unable to get the 64 bit option again. It skips past that step.



    Any help will be appreciated.

    After issue with Microsoft Surface Pro 4 I have to reinstall Windows 10 to stock Windows 10 1703.

    I now am trying to upgrade this to the latest version of Windows 10 but get the above error.

    Does anybody know how to resolve issue?
