Windows 10: Error #0x80072ee7 is this a scam

I have received error code instructing me to call a number to report activity that might harm my data and track financial activities. The alert says if I close the page my computer access will be disabled to prevent further damage to our network. I cannot just back out of it and wondering how to determine of it is a scam. What to do to fix this

To prevent such fake and unwanted pop ups/warnings/alerts , please do get a good blocker extension for your browser.
