Windows 10: Error 0x80073712

Hello.

I keep getting this error code when i try to update using the windows update program. I have performed a scan using windows defender and have no threats. Resetting the computer seems to fail every time as well. Im sure i have managed to gain some kind of virus or malware because what ever web browser I would use automatically open up 15 Tabs for microsoft support and if i clicked on anything other than the web browser it would open up another 15 tabs. Any and all help is appreciated

I am not able to connect the i phone with PC (dell windows 10 64bit) due following update error Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)

I tried with following options but still problem update is due

Step 1: Use System File Checker to repair damaged Windows files

Step 2: Run the DISM tool

Please suggest me how to solve this issuse
