Windows 10: Error 0x800f0100 - "There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later."

I've been getting this message for the past few days on windows update section. Any ideas what to do?

If you receive Windows Update error 0x800f0100, it means that a file needed by Windows Update is damaged or missing. Try one of these methods to resolve the problem.

Method 1: Use the Windows Update troubleshooter

  Try using
  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/run-the-troubleshooter-for-windows-apps
  

Method 2: Run the DISM tool

• 
  Enter command prompt in the search box.
  
• 
  In the list of results, press and hold or right-click Command Prompt, and then tap or click
  Run as administrator.
  
  You might be asked for an admin password or to confirm your choice.
  
• 
  In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type the following commands. Press the Enter key after each command:
  
  dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
  
  dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  
• 
  To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type exit, and then press Enter.
  
• 
  Run Windows Update again.
  

Method 3:
If doesn't work, I would suggest you to manually reset Windows Update components and check if it works.

Ensure that you update the Streaming Media and Broadcast - Integrated Webcam drivers by visiting the manufacturer's website and check if the issue gets fixed.

Hi,

I recently changed my sound card (X-Fi) to an Sound Blaster Z.

Since this time, Windows update is always showing me the following message when I try to update it:

There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

• Creative - Audio - Creative X-Fi Audio Processor (WDM) - Error 0x800f0100

I didn't find any mention of the X-Fi on my device manager etc...

Does somebody know how I can fix this error ?
