Windows 10: Error 0x80300002

Just Built my first gaming pc and Im trying to install Windows 10 to it. But when I get to “Where do want install Windows” it gives me error 0x8030002. I’ve tried:

• using an Iso File download on bootable usb

•formatting to NTFS

•Clean Partition

•Rufus Program

•Changing my Sata cable/different usbs

I have only 1 Seagate 1TB hard drive connected which I’m installing windows on and nothing else connected to this pc. Ive been at this two weeks and I’ve gotten absolutely no where.


Specs: Asus Z370 Motherboard

Ripjaws Gskill 2x8GB RAM

i3 800 Core Processor

500w PS

GTX 1060 3Gb

hi charlie,

actually i have already done that, deleted all available partition during clean install, after clicking "New" tab, then error 0x80300002 appeared and stop there, i cannot install may windows back. is there other way to do it?

after installing update for windows 10 and restart my laptop, it went to disk checking error, i thought it was just normal, then i felt worried when it takes almost 5 hours and haven't finished checking yet, so i power off my computer but every time
i opened it, it goes into disk checking error. i tried to perform the clean install but it wont push through and ended up into 0x80300002 error. pls help me in this issue.

i am not an expert in computers, i don't know if my laptop has a built in diagnostics. right now my laptop won't booth, so i downloaded media creation tool to boot my laptop and then do the clean install, deleted all
available partition during clean install, after clicking "New" tab, then error 0x80300002 appeared and stop there. can i perform the hard drive test in command prompt? coz i can still access the command prompt.
