Windows 10: Error 0x803f8001 - App is no longer available in your account

Drawboard PDF is a paid app which I have owned and used for years on multiple devices. It suddenly stopped working yesterday, on two separate machines. I get an error that says Drawboad PDF is no longer available in your account with an error code Error 0x803f8001.


Devices Surface Pro 4 and Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga are Windows 10 Pro and are up to date. I have reset the app, cleared the MS Store cache w/ WSReset.exe, and a few other things, but nothing works.


The app developer says this problem is a persistent Windows Store issue. Please advise on how to resolve.

Apps not downloading from windows store - error 0x803f8001

We understand that you are unable to download the apps from windows store.

I request you to follow the methods below:

Method 1:

Reset the Store.

I request you to follow the steps below to reset the Windows store:

• 
  Press the “Win Logo” + “R”
  
• 
  Type: WSReset.exe and press “Enter”.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

Method 2:

You may try to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

• Go to Start menu and then click on Settings.
• Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
• Select Add an Account.
• Enter a user name and press Next.
• Click on Finish.
• Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
• Check if issue persists.

Forza Horizon 3 is not currently available on your account 0x803F8001

Hi,

I have the same problem, and it's really annoying. I played the game 2 days ago but now it just won't start.

I have only this game, and i just can't start it anymore. and I don't want to reinstall the game cause my internet is slow.

I tried signing out and in, but same problem appears.

"Forza Horizon 3 is currently not available in your account. Here’s the error code, in case you need it: 0x803F8001"
